Within about the space of 4 miles by 8 miles, Tokyo has thirteen metro lines. Thirteen, in such a small space.
How do you then put all those subways in it? Basically you dig down deep, and stuck lines together. However, since each one got developed over time, now people are saying that some major stations are like dungeons similar to computer games.
For example, look at the map of Shibuya Station. You really have to be able to know where you are going. Otherwise you get lost.

Here is another map. It is Tokyo station. The bullet train runs on B7 level, way way down. It can take an hour to walk from one side of the station to another.

If you really love dungeon game, get an airplane ticket to Tokyo. You can do THE REAL one.
